As digital cinematography comes into its own, new roles are emerging for key players on the production team. Nobody knows this better than Jeff Olm, who is constantly working at the cutting edge of digital technology and whose current duties encompass Digital Stereo Effects and Colorist. Having started his visual effects career as an assistant editor in 1986 at The Post Group, Jeff now has over 50 film credits to his name including, Seabiscuit (Sequence Colorist), Reign of Fire (skydiving sequence Lead Compositor), Titanic, Spiderman, Castaway, Armageddon, Black Hawk Down and Harry Potter (visual effects compositing and/or color grading).

Sound Forge has always excelled at being a solid and dependable mono and two-track recorder and editor. Version 9 of the software brought multichannel support which many people misinterpreted to mean multitrack functionality. Multichannel really means the program can handle files beyond stereo such as 5.1 surround sound files.
